A news article about BYU colors from a few years ago

This is an interesting piece of history and a reference to the marketing studies done on the color changes. I imagine the studies, if done today, may yield different results.

Why did BYU change the school colors in 1999? What has been the overall effect of these moves from a business standpoint? Have fans fully embraced the Navy Blue?
