Back to the USC game and refs- The call that bothered me the most

was the spot on Dayans first down(first down that wasn't given) The ball was on the 8 (as a conservative spot) and the far line judge looked to not only have the best view but the correct spot. The other LJ came running in spotted the ball 1 1/2 yards further back. He not only didn't have any view of the play (replays at least showed that) he wasn't even close to correct. It makes me wonder from whence this imaginary spot came?

The call that bothered me the most was the Pittman TD because he pulled Dayan down

Another ref came in and said he was forced out. Simple as that.

My understanding is that by rule the ref must announce that there is no flag on

On TV at least, this called looked like it was accurate. Maybe not the exact spot, but Dayan didn't look like he made it
