In the refs defense

He knew that that hand fighting was going on and so he was more acutely aware of it and watching for it. He made a call based on his judgement on the TD, but later made the correct call the benefited us big time. It was something he was watching for and it was a pretty great call on the PI he called on Pittman. That's a call that is rarely called on the offense in that situation.

On TV at least, this called looked like it was accurate. Maybe not the exact spot, but Dayan didn't look like he made it
