The thing I don’t understand about the play is why it was ruled a TD?

The official nearest the play threw the flag and his hat for illegal touching, not a single official signals a touchdown, then they discuss if for an hour, and then somehow the ruling on the field is a touchdown? Making it less likely that the ruling gets overturned in the review? I didn’t understand how that all happened.

Also I have rewatched that play many times, and there is no way Dayan forced him out.

Another ref came in and said he was forced out. Simple as that.

My understanding is that by rule the ref must announce that there is no flag on

On TV at least, this called looked like it was accurate. Maybe not the exact spot, but Dayan didn't look like he made it
