I believe Williams had some injuries while at SC, and games lost, so even if not season ending maybe that will help his chances? Also that this injury occurred during game4 May help him, as that’s the new general cutoff for medical redshirts.
The NCAA doesn’t seem to do what’s right by the student athletes, and there’s definitely evidence they have been overly punitive with byu, basketball sanctions. Hopefully the fact that byu’s Rightfully called them out publicly for those punitive sanctions won’t effect this football hardship waiver. I’d assume obvoiusly it’s a different department to review from the sanctions unit.
