I think BYU caught USC at the perfect moment. They had a rookie QB on the road

for the first time. He tried a bit too hard at times (sound familiar?) and it resulted in some really stupid interceptions (sound familiar?). It wasn't so much that the defense forced those errors, he just made them on his own for the most part and the defense was in place to take advantage.
