If it wasn’t for the scumbag “expert” physicians a lot if these cases without
Merit would be thrown out in 2 sec.

They’re a big portion of the problem too.

Arbitration panels seem the fairest solution though perhaps those could railroad u too

A lot of the malpractice damage comes from the psychological toll yet there is really no discussion in training to prepare doctors nor support once you’re named. If u realized that you’re not an awful person/doctor and just realize that in some professions it’s just inevitable than I think that could help

I’m in a high risk specialty where I was quoted 90% plus chance I’ll be sued over next ten years..

But you’re right a lot of people and obviously lawyers are downright awful.

Plus the nonsense with hospital privileging, the injustice of state boards, etc.. it doesn’t take much to ruin your career
