My question is, what if the medical practice and the physician had different
insurance providers? How would the allocation be determined? Would it be by a 3rd party or by negotiation between the insurance providers on behalf of their clients or would the attorneys of the office and physician duke it out?
It just seems so vague that they simply decided it was 60/30/10.
