Same- we left late may and into June, but couldn't get all the way to the ice wall because there was too much ice in the
water.
But it was cool that morning seeing just how nimble those huge ships are. They had spotters on the flybridge on both sides, and we were slowly maneuvering around the ice chunks.

Go mid to late summer. I went in May and couldn't get back in fjords because there was too much ice.
