When I was at the U, chinese students would blatantly talk during tests.
In Mandarin, I think. This happened on multiple occasions and the teacher would say "no talking to your neighbor" and they would just keep doing it. To my knowledge, no one ever got in trouble. On a related note, we had a couple teachers announce in class that since plagiarism laws are different in China they would be more relaxed with Chinese students. Complete bogus.
