These are places we end up going. Urban Plates isn't super special but the quality is good and the prices not inflated. Solid choice for good quality food. You could replace Tacos El Gordo with TJ Tacos in Escondido (same type of restaurant) or lots of cheap Mexican food places. You can find better BBQ than Phil's but when we go everyone enjoys it.
