If BYU can hold a team to 17 points, they expect to win. And if they score 24 points, they expect to win.
If we're being honest:
Utah - offensive and defensive both fail.
Tennessee - defense succeeded in regulation; while offense failed. Still worked out for a win.
USC - defense failed in regulation; while offense succeeded. Still worked out for a win.
Washington - offense and defense both fail.
Toledo - offense and defense both fail. If the offense had succeeded, BYU still loses. If the defense had succeeded, BYU wins.
