Essentially, but in both the Toledo and USF games, we were sufficiently good on defense in the 1st half

That if the offense and special teams hadn't squandered so many points we could have put both teams in such a big hole they likely wouldn't have caught up. Especially USF because their QB and his broken hand weren't going to consistently succeed throwing the ball.
