offense for the defenses failures.

Funny how some of us have complained about Tuiaki for a few years, then Sitake takes over and the defense has the best hand they have had all year, until the 4th quarter when they went back to the same conservative defense that Tuiaki would have called.

At first the offense couldn't stay on the field, and that was the problem for the defense. Then the offense Was sustaining drives but not scoring, and that was the problem for the defense. Against BSU the offense scored points and gave a big lead, and the defense still struggled in the 4th when they went back to the conservative defense. Maybe, just maybe, the defense is a problem on its own and the conservative bend and eventually break D needs to change.

I know that the offense isn't good enough and needs to do better, but my OP isn't any different than excusing the defense (which has a lot more talent than the offense and has the last 4 years) because of the offense.
