The bigger and more passionate the fanbase, the more endorsements athletes will
get. BYU's fanbase is biggest in the state of Utah, and much bigger than any other in-state school on a national scale. BYU's fanbase is one of the best in the west. Sure BYU's fanbase doesn't compare to SEC fanbases, Ohio State, Michigan, Oklahoma, etc. but they hold their own quite nicely with the P5 fanbases in general. I don't have time to find links right now, but BYU is somewhere from top 20 to top 50 in attendance, TV viewership, social media engagement, etc. in the country depending on what you're measuring.
