A. The P5 schools don't care one way or another
B. The G5 schools care very much about excluding BYU from the formula because we represent a competitor for them most years for the highest ranking of non-P5 schools.
When you have 65 P5 schools that don't care and 65 G5 schools that don't want to allow BYU to be eligible for that slot, BYU doesn't have the leverage to overrule the 65 G5 athletic directors lobbying against us.
