Would you rather...
Play against a QB who is playing his first start at QB and is coming in for an injured QB, so he got fewer first team reps during fall camp and during every other week of preparation leading up to the game.
Or
Play against a QB who has now had the opportunity to play in several games as well as an additional offseason to learn the offense better and continue to (potentially) improve?
Seems like most teams like playing the guy who is starting his first couple of games - gives them the opportunity to rattle the new guy who hasn't been playing full speed against different competition.
Again - I understand what is being said. But it doesn't necessarily make a ton of sense to me.
