That's what I went with. He was an elite pitcher for his era before becoming the
greatest hitter of all time. Nobody dominated his sport and era like he did (at least in team sports). He was putting up better numbers than entire teams combined in his day.

His knock would be how long ago he played and the fact that the MLB was just a white american sport at the time. Blacks couldn't play in the league and the sport hadn't spread into the Caribbean and elsewhere yet. Still, his insane numbers speak for themself
