Of course I didn’t plan to neglect it. Life is busy and it sat in my garage. At some point when I moved my Ferrari so I could get to my vintage motorcycle collection I saw it there in the back of the garage and thought it would be nice to see if it would start. The lead acid battery was of course dead — but after adding oil for the first time and connecting the propane, not even the pull start could get the generator going.

At least that’s what my household staff told me.
