I tip because I know how hard being a server can be - dealing daily with butt head customers who want the world for a song. I tip because I’ve been fortunate and don’t mind sharing when I can. I tip because I believe we should all try to be more generous. Lots of reasons.
Someone making $15 an hour in a restaurant is, more likely than not, still struggling. 15 an hour - for 2000 hours in a year is $30k. That isn’t big money by any stretch.
