Agreed. A stylist charges $80-$100 to do a woman’s hair, then you
tip another 15-20% on top of that? Isn’t the $100 paying for the haircut? At a restaurant, food prices only cover food, not the service. So a tip makes sense. But to pay someone for a service, and then pay them more money for some inexplicable reason because they gave you the service you paid for just doesn’t make sense.

How about instead of tipping, services just charge what it actually cost? Crazy idea, I know.
