Just because plans were TBD doesn’t mean UMass had any leeway.

When teams sign a contract for a game at BYU, broadcast specifics are also tbd. The game could be on abc, or ESPN, or espn2, or espnu or BYUtv. The plans are tbd, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a contract already in place that dictates what the possibilities are.

From the BYU press release when the deal was signed the broadcast plans were TBD
