Sonoyta is a little dicey feeling. When you get through the border keep driving and don’t stop until you get to your resort. Travel during the day. The stop sign just outside of sonoyta isn’t really a stop sign it’s some guys trying to get people to stop to give them money. DRIVE THE SPEED LIMIT EXACTLY in sonoyta once you get outside of town limit floor it and don’t loom back. 👍🏻 Keep $40 under the sun visor and another $40 in the glove box for cop pay offs.

Best taco place in peurto Penasco is a little joint called Taqueria Los Poblanos Al Pastor is fantastic there. Best churros at Churro Penasco if you haven’t had fresh made churros these are amazing. It’s just a side of the road vendor but they are amazing.
