I think the odds of the Rose Bowl are higher because I think Oregon goes 11-1
So win or lose, the Rose Bowl would be the floor. I'll be more confident if we beat UCLA this week, like we should. I don't see a stumble against Arizona or a terrible CU team. But I'm never going to be confident that the playoff committee picks Utah over Bama, Oklahoma, UGA, etc. Hopeful, sure, but not confident.
So 12-1 Utah to the playoff: 10%
12-1 Utah to the Rose Bowl: 15%
11-2 Utah to the Rose Bowl (and Oregon to the playoff): 25%
11-2 Utah to the Cotton Bowl (and Oregon to the Rose): 15%
11-2 or worse Utah to the Alamo: 35% (this might be too high).
So 12-1 Utah to the playoff: 10%
