Of the teams ranked #5-#10 in CFP, 'Bama has the most difficult
task to make the playoff. They were 7 point favorites, at home, and we're manhandled by LSU, regardless of the final score. They will not be in the SEC CCG and are playing FCS Western Carolina before the Iron Bowl.
None of that is very compelling argument to be included, Even if they beat Auburn, the latter will then be a 4-loss team. That's not a very compelling resume.
