A lack of big wins.

Not saying Alabama isn't a top-4 team, but if they win out, they only have one big win (over Auburn) and no conference championship. If Oregon and Utah win out, the winner in the CCG would have a bigger win and the conference championship. I can understand if the committee decides those two trump the fact that Alabama has a "better" loss.
