1 - Utah almost always has a top 20 defense. On the road. Tough game.

2 - Michigan State is well coached, traditionally a top 20 D, and will be substantially more athletic than we are. Tough game.

3 - ASU is 5-5 starting a true freshman QB who has looked unbelievable. He is an elite athlete, may be the best QB we play. We are in the road again.

4 - MINNESOTA has one of the two best young coaches in the game (Riley at OU). They will be great. And on the road yet again.

5 - We should beat USU.

6 - Mizzou may be most athletic team we play.

7 - We should beat Houston.

8 - We should beat NIU.

9 - Boise will be their normal self. And on the road.

10 - SDSU has a great coach. Tough game.

11 - We should beat N Alabama.

12 - Stanford is tough defensively and there is no reason to believe this year isn’t an outlier given coach and talent level. Tough game.

By my count that’s 6 games where will definitely be less talented on paper, 3 that will be a wash, and 3 we are definitely superior. That’s a tough schedule whatever the records now or at the end of next year.
