I used to be so die hard and my weekend would be determined by how BYU performed. Now I just don’t care, I hope they win, but if they don’t oh well next week will come and if we get 6 wins the bowl game is locked in. Utah and Utah State have family ties for me as well, so I find myself once BYU loses a few more interested in how those two teams are doing in their conferences and hope they both win their conference. I think it’s good for the state as a whole, and although I live in Utah, I run across people from work all over the country that love college football and to them if you are from Utah or Mormon, they equate all three programs to Utah and Mormons. And I don’t mind it. I haven’t seen that many Utah games this year or Utah state games, not as many as BYU, but in bowl games absolutely I will watch them all.
