Just be single for a while longer and hope that sometime or other you meet someone you'd like to marry.

Better metaphor is: you are married now and it is a law of nature that you are always married to someone. Divorce is BFD (Big Feathery Deal) and a PITA (Pain In The Allthings). If you divorce your current spouse, and go through all the pain that that entails, you will immediately be married to someone around you, like it or not.

You look around you and know that your new spouse will be someone you see in your current field of view.

Is it worth the divorce just to end up with one of them instead?
