"was unwilling to permit BYU the opportunity to purchase broadcast rights" makes
it sound like they aren't even willing to listen to offers, but I could be wrong. BYU definitely isn't going to come out and say they wouldn't accept our low-ball offer, but the way they worded it by saying they are unwilling to even give them an opportunity to purchase it makes it seem like it is totally FloSports just being difficult to work with. If that really is the case, they are completely stupid and BYU should be done making any further agreements with UMass in the future unless there are specific provisions made for broadcast rights on the road.
