Everyone has their name placed on a 3x5 card. Before dinner everyone picks a
name out at random, then writes on the card why they're grateful for the person on the card. The cards are then put out at each persons place on the table
Once we're done eating dinner, and before we tear into dessert, we go around and everyone reads their card (about themselves).
Pretty fun and endearing. Sometimes your 3 year old niece draws your name, and some years your 90 year old grandma draws your name and writes the nicest thing you've ever heard.
