Working for the government is great. Being a small business owner, and watching my federal employee neighbors have health insurance, braces for their kids and fat retirement accounts makes me glad I could be a blessing to them with my 60 hours weeks to make sure my taxes are paid. A couple years ago I figured out that I work half the year before I break even. So I think of it as half my life given to my fellow Americans and I feel very generous and charitable.
