Unfortunately I think this is right. Also think the CFP committee throws the PAC a bone & Utah gets in playoff.
Even if OU wins, they may be looking to help keep the PAC engaged in the playoffs since they've missed the last couple years. Same would be said if the BIG 12 had missed 2 in a row. The big 3 need to keep the other 2 from revolting.
