Me and my family have watched all the movies chronologically. You can't look too closely at any of them the same way
you'd look at other movies. Bad acting, plot holes, bad dialogue, bad action sequences, and a whole bunch of sins are in all of them ... but I still love them and enjoy them quite a bit. Star Wars is it's own thing, and there is no experience in a movie theater like hearing the opening fan fare.
And there is no sin in The Last Jedi that wasn't worst than anything that happened in the original trilogy.
