For example, I went into Empire expecting to love it, but after Hoth, realized i didn't care for much that happened after. And Jedi was the opposite. I went in thinking I was going to dislike everything Ewok related on Endor, but didn't mind it too much this time. The only thing that really took me out of it was Chewie's Tarzan yell...

As for The Last Jedi, I haven't seen it since opening night, but I didn't find it that entertaining as a movie. I'm no SJW or anti SJW, I just like a good movie. I didn't care much for The Force Awakens, but at least found it somewhat entertaining. But I have learned this year that movies can change dramatically for me with a new context. So I am actually somewhat excited to see how I feel about both the prequels and the newer stuff. As of now, Rogue One has been the only new film that I have enjoyed.
