Here is what we are talking about....
This interview was of Sitake and Whitt before the rivalry game this year. They both have tremendous respect for each other and voice that throughout this entire interview. That isn't what I think is bugging most CBers.
At around 3:03ish and where the link below starts, she asks each of them if they root for the other team when they aren't playing. Kalani says yes immediately and is very passionate about it in his answer. Whitt, on the other hand, says they have the PAC-12 to worry about and completely avoids answering the question. That is all Kalani needs to do (while still showing tremendous respect to Whitt and their friendship). It really isn't that hard to understand and grasp.
