1. KW isn't really overly effusive about ANYTHING. That's not his personality.
2. He doesn't disparage BYU.
3. His job is the HC of BYU's archrival.
4. He maintains close relationships with many of his former BYU teammates, he's always spoken about LaVell with reverence and respect. He's expressed his pride and affection for Kalani on multiple occasions.

In MY opinion, Kalani is more of an outlier than KW. I don't imagine Kalani's players love hearing him heaping praise onto their rivals.

While Kyle is the HC at Utah, he's not going to do a single thing that would take away any competitive edge that his players have.
