Agreed. And had Oregon beat Auburn, they would have entered this game ahead of
Utah and would have had a much stronger argument for the #4 seed over LSU should UGA win tomorrow.
Oregon took a gamble in playing Auburn. There was upside and downside. Unfortunately for them, they lost that game.
All that said, there are still flaws with this system.
