Auburn is a 3 loss team. They would be included in a bigger playoff format.

Their only losses are to LSU, Georgia, and Florida, each of those teams in the top 10. Two of which are top 4. The playoff committee has Auburn ranked #11.

Auburn beat the Pac 12 champion Oregon. They beat Alabama.

I have sympathy for teams with 2 or even 3 losses.
