Yes, it could be worse. But Utah was ranked in the top 5-15 almost the entire year and they’re still ranked in the Top 15.
Texas is a big brand. That’s it. They had a bad year, they are not ranked, and they finished with a 7-5 record. If Utah wins, so what. If they lose, it’s an embarrassing loss for Utah.
