Rose definitely had talent. You act like they had nothing, but Rose for years
Seemed to completely avoid teaching or pushing defense. His teams at times were lost and underperformed.
I absolutely love what Rose did at BYU. I know him personally, and respect the heck out of the guy. But he was burned out. IMO, he simply did less with the talent he had.
Yes, Pope has talent. And time will tell how good he is, I think he will be very good. But right now a in a short time I think he is coaching these players up and improving this in an impressive way. I hope that I feel this way at the end of the year.
