...he gets the team up just fine for a big game but then (speed of the leader) the whole program seems to ease up on the gas when playing mediocre teams. Even in the Utah game to open the season we seemed a little hesitant like we were holding back and afraid to smash helmets with them. On offense we kept trying to run it wide despite having some success running up the middle with Ty'son Williams.

Had we approached the Toledo, USF and SDSU games like we did Boise St and Utah St we'd be looking at a 10-2 season heading into our bowl game. We'd very likely be a top 20 team for the first time in 10 yrs.
