To those fans shouting the sky is falling due to Gentry committing to Virginia
1) granted, on paper his commitment to Virginia is a big loss
2) unlike previously posted, he is a four star and not a five star
3) I guess since Alabama, Michigan and Notre Dame also strike out, they are horrible recruiters too. There is only so much Sitake can do.
4) as a former athlete, recruiting is impacted by so many factors, not just continuing the legacy or playing with a brother. I won’t list them here.
Coaches from several good/great programs struck out for various reasons. It doesn’t make them bad or horrible recruiters. Nor does it make Sitake a horrible recruiter.
