If that's what he truly wanted, it would have happened. It's the same thing with the Ritchie complaints. Sure BYU could have done some things differently way back, but let's be real, it wasn't going to make a difference in the end. He would have big-timed us. Scotty Edwards seems to be hoping to be able to do the same.
It's not like Bronco could have approached the Porter Gustin thing differently and actually been anywhere in the same universe of those with a chance to land him. He just wanted the local attention so he could kindly give us all a nod.
