This board never gave Bronco these same excuses. And you know what, moving on from Bronco is what it is, but we are 4 years removed and it's evident Kalani isn't the answer. Next man up.

For the record, I was pretty hard on Dave Rose the last 3-4 seasons, the writing was on the wall with his program. People told me the same thing. I was too hard. BYU is what it is. I didn't believe that. I was thrilled with the Pope hire, thrilled he brought Roger Reid back into the fold. I've got mostly positive takes in regards to the BYU basketball program now. We corrected a coaching issue, 3-4 years too late but we finally did.

Honestly, I've had 4 years to watch Kalani coach this team. I'm not impressed, at all. We can do better. Really, the BOT and HC isn't the reason for 11 G5 losses in 3 years. It's not. It's coaching. Kalani could shut us all up by being consistent, beating most of his G5 opponents, and especially by beating Utah. But he can't.
