control of is who coaches the team. The other stuff either won't or can't be addressed. But we can certainly not extend a coach who hasn't lived up to expectations. I don't think he's a good coach. We can get someone who can do better with our restrictions.
Our restrictions should never keep us from being top dog in a G5 landscape. So OP's like this drive me up the wall.
This is the heart of the BYU football post time. Soon enough it'll be over and I'll be preoccupied with BYU basketball, and I'm all aboard the Pope train, so you'll have a break from me. It's easier for some to just sit back and support unconditionally. Those same people would have been content to watch Dave Rose on the sideline another decade of no NCAA bids. Because Dave is a nice guy. That's a BYU thing. BYU fans are incredibly nice. That's okay, a few of us can call it like we see it and be a thorn in the side.
Again, I gave Kalani his moment. My interest was peaked when Tom said he and Kalani had a plan to be Utah. But four years later I'm not impressed. I've watched him manage games, and for 1.8 million I think BYU can get a better head coach. But yeah, what's new?
