I was in the right field seats too. But that there is game 4.
Game 3 it was Alomar and Candy Maldonado homering off Ron Darling.
Two really good games. I listened to game 4 on the radio driving back home the next day. I was near Winnemucca when Eck blew the save opportunity and 2 run 9th inning lead.
Some things you just don't forget.
There were two Blue Jay fans sitting about 4 row in front of me causing mayhem. Provoking the crowd. After the Maldonado HR, they stood up and started taunting. A's fans pummeled them with anything they could get their hands on. I didn't realize you could do that and get away with it. So I joined in and threw my crinkled up hot dog foil wrapper.
