I played in the halftime show in 1974 at the AFC Championship game. They played
Pittsburgh and lost. The Steelers went on to win their first Super Bowl against Minnesota.
This is back in the day when halftime shows were a big deal and were broadcast by the NBC and CBS and high school bands across the nation were honored to receive the invitation and the celebrity status.
