Just saw Star Wars and turned this category back on. It was fine, but the best part (very minor spoiler)
Is that Rose only got about 45 seconds of total screen time.
There was some other weird stuff too, but that alone made it 100x better than number 8
Other thoughts
It was weird how Ben just turned good all of a sudden. And where did Han come from - he wasn’t a force ghost because he wasn’t blue. And Leia died because of the energy required to make Ben hear her voice? That was all not explained very well.
Is the black ex-stormtrooper supposed to the Lando’s daughter? Also not explained - it felt more like a setup for a future movie than anything else.
Poe and the bounty hunter was a clear setup for a Poe backstory movie.
The stormtroopers flying was dumb, partly because of the flying and partly because they apparently just hovered over the good guys until the speeder stormtroopers were dead?
I thought there were rumors that Ewan McGregor and other actors from 1-3 would make an appearance. That could have been cool at the very end when Rey fights Palpatine.
The lesbian kiss at the end was forced and weird. Who even were those characters
