Sounds like a few of your spoiler gripes were in JJ Abrams original cut and got
chopped
Ben Solos inner turmoil, the former jedi were supposed to appear not just voices they were filmed and everything but chopped
The lesbian thing was supposed to be more
Rose's role was "chopped" because Carry died otherwise "she would have had more air time along with Leia"
